Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival

Held annually during the first long weekend in May, the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival has kicked off its 20th anniversary celebrations with another record-breaking achievement. As organisers take the wraps off the 2019 programme, they have revealed that this year’s festival will host 665 events – over 100 more than in previous years. Tickets on sale now!

Event providers from all corners of Speyside – the spiritual home of Scotland’s malt whisky production – have lined up a host of exciting and unusual events for both whisky connoisseurs and first-time visitors from May 1 to 6. From exclusive behind-the-scenes tours and tastings at distilleries that are never usually open to the public, to fun community-led events with music and food, the festival organisers are promising something for everyone regardless of their level of interest or knowledge about Scotland’s national drink.

Spirit of Speyside: Distilled

The team behind the annual Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival have brought another fantastic event to the sampling table – Spirit of Speyside: Distilled. The world’s best whisky distillers are uniting under one roof on their own doorstep – Speyside. But that’s not all. Speyside’s whisky distillers will be in good company as award-winning brewers, gin crafters, food producers and others, will be joining them at one of the four sessions on the 6th & 7th September 2019.

An event that lets you meet, greet and learn from the whisky masters, sample the best drams, beers and gins from our renowned region (and take home a bottle or two) and discover flavours from the meadows to the sea whilst having a good time.
