Welcome to The Speyside Golf Experience

The Speyside Golf Experience aims to promote this outstanding area of Scotland as a high quality, year-round golfing destination through collaboration with golf courses, accommodation and visitor attractions to create experiences which are welcoming, enjoyable, unique and memorable. Our founding partner members consist of five excellent golf courses, three superb hotels and two world famous local companies.

The five partner golf courses offer exceptional golfing encounters, diversity and distinctive playing conditions making this one of the most unique destinations in the Home of Golf. They are located from the Highlands through to the north east coast of Scotland each delivering to golfers, the full spectrum of course styles.  On offer are the heather clad vistas at Boat of Garten and Grantown-on-Spey through to the heath and parkland type courses in the Laich of Moray at Forres and Elgin.  Then, sweeping down to the coastal fringe and in contrast, players reach the sand dunes and links of a Championship course at Lossiemouth –  Moray Old.

Our three partner first class hotels offer high quality facilities and serve great cuisine.  They’re to be found at the Grant Arms Hotel, Grantown-on-Spey and The Sunninghill Hotel, Elgin.

This is also Speyside, the heart of Scotland's whisky distilling industry with more than 28 separate distilleries on or near the banks of the River Spey.
