Speyside Golf Festival 2017

Congratulations to Liz Ruscoe from Vicars Cross who is the winner of the 2017 Speyside Golf Festival.

Tom Anderson, Bathgate was runner up with Len Walker, Denton 3rd, Benno Hoffman, Pfullinger Hof, Germany 4th and  Mark McCathie, Dukes Course, St Andrews 5th.

  The prizes were presented by Alan Thom, captain of Grantown on Spey Golf Club.

It is tight at the top of the leaderboard after 4 days play and with 1 score to be dropped after the 5 rounds many are in contention to win the SGF Quaich.

Day 2 Moray

Double Dutch x 4 - taking part in September's Speyside G E are Roy van Vessem(kneeling on right) and his dad, Jan (holding the famous quaich) from Kellas, in Moray with 6 of their fellow countrymen making their first visit to Speyside's finest courses.

Day 1 Forres

Prue Gifford-Ellis, Latrobe Golf Club, Melbourne, Australia, as part of a holiday to the UK is playing in the Speyside Golf Festival . As a warm-up to Festival week she played Royal Dornoch and Castle Stuart and teed off today Monday 4th September at Forres. Prue is warmly welcomed by James Macpherson Speyside Golf Expreience.
